Peyton
There was no point in fighting the sickening heartache that charred my insides every waking moment. It sat solid as a rock in the depths of my stomach and screamed at me over and over again. Day in, day out. The constant press of it was enough to drive me insane. Each morning I woke in the hope that it was just a bad dream. Each morning I had to live through the agony again, like being stuck on a dizzying carousel. The dreams and the visions flooded my brain and made me feel like they might suffocate me.
